IN THE NEWS

CONTESSA GALLERY AND ITS ARTISTS FEATURED IN THE ARMORY SHOW REVIEW.

A talented photographer without equal, David Drebin is above all a storyteller. His brooding and glamorous works tells tales of lust and voyeurism, as well as seduction and escape. Not afraid to be daring, Drebin also tantalizes us with subtle allusions. His sweeping cinematic images feature the majestic backdrops of such world cities as Berlin, Paris and Rio de Janeiro. These photographs pulse with a charged sensuality, using color and light to maximum effect. David’s new book “The Morning After” premiered in the United States during Art Miami with Contessa Gallery.

On March 3, 2011 the Arts section of NY Daily News featured a great review of David Drebin’s work. To read the article please CLICK HERE.

The February issue of ARTnews magazine features a 4-page article on the career and the art of David Drebin. It highlights some of his best works several of which will be on view at Contessa Gallery.

Another great review of Drebin’s works “UNE FEMME A SA FENETRE” in “Photo”, a French magazine dedicated to the art of photography.
